At-Home Red Light Therapy Treatment Setup Examples

Full-Body Couch or Massage Table Setup

What we like ✅ 

  • Provides full-body coverage

  • Could be done on a couch or over a massage table

What we don’t like 🙅 

  • Needs a dedicated spot and more space (unless you put it over your bed)

  • More expensive to set up (larger lights are more expensive)

Bedside Lamp Setup

What we like ✅ 

  • Cheaper, smaller lights are less expensive

  • Takes up less space than larger light setups

  • Can double as a reading lamp and reduce blue light exposure before bed

What we don’t like 🙅 

  • Kinda weird right next to your bed, partner might be weirded out

  • Smaller light means less body coverage

Mobile Setup

What we like ✅ 

  • Mobile setup means you set it up wherever you want that day

  • Can provide more targeted coverage on a specific area (belly, thighs, or face)

  • Could set up next to yoga mat for double duty workouts and Red Light Therapy sessions

What we don’t like 🙅 

  • Smaller lamps mean less overall coverage

  • May have to plug and unplug every time you want to use (meaning potentially less usage)

  • Cords make potential tripping hazards
