Top 5 Go-To Anti-Aging Tips from Reddit

What are your go-to anti aging tips that you swear by?

We did some research and found this thread in the AskWomen subreddit. The person posting was requesting women’s go-to anti-aging tips. There are over 600 replies on the thread. After sifting through them, we pulled out the top five for you.

Here are the top 5 go-to anti-aging tips women swear by:

  1. Drink lots of water and have an spf face cream.

  2. Stay young in my head. My mother is 57, I can see how she physically aged from when I was a child. But she's so fresh and young in her head. It immediately shows. Every single one of my friends that encounter her then goes "Wow, your mom is so beautiful. She has something special.” She is my absolute goal when aging.

  3. Lots of exercise. A good diet that is mostly or all plants. Maintaining a healthy weight. Getting plenty of sleep. Managing stress and laughing with people every day.

  4. Take care of your teeth. Laugh and smile enough that all your wrinkles are laugh lines.

  5. Keeping at the same weight during your adult life. Erratic weight changes and yo-yo dieting are really bad for your skin. Also, do low-impact exercise and no pounding feet workouts as this is bad for your skin and joints.

We’d like to hear from you. What are your go-to anti-aging tips?

A Much-Needed Reminder About Self-Care

When I started doing skincare, I thought all I was achieving was better-looking skin. What I’m beginning to realize is it’s not really about how my skin looks. It’s about reminding myself every day that I care about myself and that I can put time aside to care. @MedicCasts

Before & After: Two Weeks of Red Light for Hyperpigmentation

Check out the results this woman experienced after just two weeks of using a SolaWave Red Light Therapy wand.

Here’s her normal facial skincare routine. The only thing she changed the last two weeks is adding the SolaWave Red Light Wand.

AM: Wash face with water, TO HA, CeraVe hydrating toner, Laneige Cream Skin Toner, Maelove Fadeaway serum, Ole Henriksen Peptide Trainer moisturizer, SolaWave wand for 5 or so minutes, wait 30 min, apply Isntree Hyaluronic Acid Watery Sun Gel

PM: Kose Speedy Cleansing Oil, LRP Toleriane Hydrating Gentle Cleanser, CeraVe Hydrating Toner, Laneige Cream Skin Toner, Cosrx Snail Mucin, Maelove Fadeaway serum, Ole Henriksen Peptide moisturizer, Vanicream moisturizing cream, wait 30 min, apply Tret Micro .04%

Before adding the Red Light Wand, she shared, “Honestly, I was very skeptical that the red light would actually work.

“Although there are studies showing that it does work for not only hyperpigmentation, but other skin issues as well. I was desperate to get rid of the hyperpigmentation and was willing to try it.

“I haven’t changed anything in my skincare routine besides the SolaWave Wand.”

The results speak for themselves.

That’s all for today,
